E&USA (Electrical & Utilities Safety Association)

E&USA LogoThe Electrical & Utilities Safety Association (E&USA) is a not-for-profit, incorporated health and safety consulting and training firm, providing a range of services and injury prevention knowledge to more than 1,000 member companies in the electrical utility, power generation, utility forestry, and telecommunications industries.

Established in 1915, E&USA has adopted the vision – To Relentlessly Pursue the Paths to Zero – a vigorous objective to prevent injury and illness and eliminate workplace time-loss injuries with a focus on building a health and safety culture, using the internal responsibility system in a risk management approach, while highlighting industry best practices along the way.

IAPA (Industrial Accident Prevention Association)

IAPA LogoThe Industrial Accident Prevention Association (IAPA) is a not-for-profit, member-driven organization operating in the Province of Ontario since 1917.

Representing approximately 50,000 member firms and more than 1.5 million workers, IAPA is Canada’s largest health and safety organization and has taken a leading role in the prevention of workplace injuries and illness, working for improvement in the health and safety performance of its member firms.

In 2004, IAPA was officially designated as a World Health Organization (WHO) Collaborating Centre in occupational health, one of only three such centres in Canada. IAPA is also the only centre among 56 worldwide to assume the title of a "WHO Collaborating Centre in Workplace Injury and Illness Prevention."

OSSA (Ontario Service Safety Alliance)

OSSA LogoThe Ontario Service Safety Alliance (OSSA), a not-for- profit health and safety consulting company, is the designated Safe Workplace Association for the Service Sector in Ontario, delivering health and safety consulting, training, and products and services to a wide range of clients.

THSAO (Transportation Health and Safety Association of Ontario)

THSAO LogoThe Transportation Health and Safety Association of Ontario (THSAO) is one of 14 sector specific workplace associations dedicated to the advancement and promotion of safe workplace practices in businesses across Ontario. The safety associations are mandated by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) Act and engage in education and training, consulting, and safety assessments in those workplaces, in pursuit of that objective. As their title denotes, THSAO is dedicated primarily to working with companies and personnel in the transportation industry.
