Workplace Safety & Prevention Services

Lynn has over 20 years of experience working in Ontario’s health and safety prevention system. She has forged strong relationships and has collaborated with many individuals and organizations in the system on projects and initiatives aimed at making Ontario workplaces healthier and safer.


She has overseen the development and launch of many transformative strategies and resources at WSPS, including an internal portal which facilitates organization-wide learning and collaboration, and the design and implementation of a governance strategy that has enhanced the efficiency and effectiveness of WSPS’s work with its Board of Directors. She has streamlined business and strategic planning activities, and is currently sponsoring a project team that is transforming the way that the organization helps customers grow their businesses by creating healthy and safe workplaces.

Infrastructure Health & Safety Association

IHSA was formed in January 2010 by amalgamating the Construction Safety Association of Ontario (CSAO), the Electrical & Utilities Association (E&USA), and the Transportation Health & Safety Association (THSAO). Drawing from 250 years of safety education experience, IHSA offers high-risk activity solutions to over 85,000 member firms and trade unions in Ontario.


Enzo is a Professional Engineer and graduate from University of Waterloo in Civil Engineering. He started his career in the construction sector working on heavy civil and road projects before moving into a health and safety role. After 7 years in the construction sector, he has spent past 18 years with IHSA and one of its predecessors, CSAO. Through his time in the health and safety system, Enzo has had responsibility for research, program development and currently, IHSA’s Labour-Management Network. In addition, Enzo is also the acting President and CEO of the Association.

Workplace Safety& Prevention Services (WSPS)

WSPS, formed January 1, 2010, is a not-for-profit organization with a mandate to meet the health and safety needs of 154,000 businesses in the agricultural, manufacturing and service industries, representing 3.8 million employees across Ontario.


Sandra Miller is the Vice President of Government Relations for Workplace Safety & Prevention Services. Her connection to CHSI goes back to the facilities inception, working on the project team that developed the business case to create the Centre.   Sandra acted as the construction liaison for the four founding organizations during the design and construction build out phases. Sandra has been in Ontario’s health and safety system for 26 years. Earlier in her career, Sandra worked in the Ontario Ministry of Government Services in the Land Development and Property Management Division (now Ontario Realty Corporation) running various programs including the social housing program. Being familiar with construction and building maintenance is experience that she brings to sitting on the CHSI Board.


Ms. Miller has recently completed the Institute of Corporate Directors, Not-For Profit Governance Essentials course in preparation for her role.  Sandra has her Master of Arts degree in Leadership from Royal Roads University in Victoria, British Columbia and undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto in Sociology and Employment Relations.


Vice President, Marketing & Finance

Infrastructure Health & Safety Association

Fatima Luis is Vice-President of Marketing & Finance at the Infrastructure Health & Safety Association (IHSA). Fatima is responsible for finance, procurement, office services, communications, marketing, and print production at IHSA. Fatima studied commerce and has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Windsor. She also has a Certificate of Marketing and Retailing from Ryerson University. Her education includes courses in occupational health and safety management and information technology.


Fatima's marketing experience includes work for Simpsons department stores, where she prepared buying plans, executed product distribution, and conducted studies to support merchandise planning. She has experience in pay equity and labour-management relations.


Fatima began her career in health and safety twenty-five years ago with the Construction Safety Association of Ontario (CSAO), working her way up to the position of Manager of Production Services. In this role, Fatima managed all aspects of communications, print production, and customer service for the association.


Fatima became IHSA's Manager of Marketing and Communications in January 2010 when CSAO merged into IHSA. She became Vice-President, Marketing & Finance in June 2011.
